Maintenance Director

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to lead our team in ensuring the physical aspects of our community meet company standards and applicable laws.

• Interview, hire, and train new team members.
• Develop and lead a team of Maintenance Technicians through diagnosing problems and providing resolutions.
• Mentor and guide maintenance technicians to increase their overall knowledge base and skill set.
• Provide expert knowledge and trouble-shooting in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool maintenance, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structure, and appliance repair.
• Be accountable for establishing and preparing a 24-hour on-call schedule for your team, and personally be available at all times in the event of snow and ice or other on-site emergencies.
• Partner with office staff to provide exceptional service and follow-up to our residents on any maintenance issues that may arise.
• Manage and organize inventory of all maintenance materials.
• Establish a preventive maintenance schedule, make-ready schedule, and general work order schedule for the team.
• Regularly inspect community buildings, including vacant units.
• Plan, assign, and direct work of the maintenance team.

• Valid driver's license, good driving record, personal vehicle, and auto insurance.
• Live within a 30-minute commute of the property.
• HVAC/EPA/CFC Certification.
• Stellar communication and customer service skills.
• 1 or more years of managerial experience - preferably at an apartment community.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screen.

• Pay range: $25.00 - $27.00/HR.
