Job Summary
As a Supervisor, Radiography III, you will direct supervision of the Nondestructive Test (NDT) staff, ensuring that the requirements of NAS 410 are met. You will also interpret codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the NDT methods utilized by the employer.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct supervision of NDT staff and destructive testing personnel
- Interpret codes, standards, and contractual documents
- Exercise technical responsibility for the NDT facility and staff
- Select method and technique for specific inspection of an ammunition item
- Prepare and verify the adequacy of radiographic procedures
- Approve NDT procedures and work instructions
- Provide and/or direct training, examination, and certification of personnel
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Five years of NDT radiography experience required
- Level 3 Radiographer Certification strongly required
