Lockheed Martin is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Program Manager to oversee Program operations.
The individual in this role will provide strategic direction and ensure the effectiveness of critical areas such as Quality business process management, data analysis, continuous enhancement, talent cultivation, and knowledge retention.
This role requires the candidate to be a Subject Matter Expert in Quality Assurance and serve as a consultant for the Quality Assurance team.
The position necessitates staying updated with industry standards and integrating technology into operations.Key Responsibilities:
• Formulate strategies that lead to modern and efficient business practices for enhancing the Quality Management System and talent development.
• Design and execute processes that improve program performance while mitigating risks.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to uphold quality standards.
• Establish a Program Quality Management System that adheres to client specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Apply quality methodologies and organizational policies effectively.
• Set performance indicators and perform data analysis to pinpoint areas for improvement.
• Resolve complex issues with a focus on continuous improvement methodologies.
• Conduct analyses to drive Corrective Action and Preventive Action initiatives.
• Act as a liaison between the program and clients to ensure satisfaction and fulfillment of requirements.
• Foster talent development to enhance organizational capabilities.
Essential Qualifications:
• A degree in a STEM field at the Bachelor's level or higher, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in managing the development and application of quality standards and protocols for processing materials.
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to create impactful messages and training for diverse teams.
• Experience working with governmental clients.
• Demonstrated leadership and facilitation experience.
• Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced degree in a STEM field is highly desirable.
• Previous leadership experience.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and/or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA).
• Proficient in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Advanced capability in utilizing data to identify trends and implement corrective and preventive measures.
• In-depth knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.
• Familiarity with Bid, Proposal, and Estimating practices and the development of Quality Assurance Basis of Estimates (BOE).
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management System as a Cost Account Manager (EVMS CAM).
• Understanding of requirements for managing Government Furnished Equipment/Property during operational tests.

The annual base salary range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
