As a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Memorial Health University Medical Center, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. Your primary responsibility will be to perform diagnostic medical radiographic procedures on patients of all ages, ensuring that you adhere to professional guidelines and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete digital radiographic processes according to professional guidelines and standards.
- Schedule and coordinate exams, explaining procedures and preparations to patients, and obtain and document necessary history and symptomology.
- Implement and oversee quality control processes, making adjustments to equipment as indicated by Q.C. test results or notifying the supervisor that service is required.
- Maintain x-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order, performing preventative maintenance on a regularly scheduled basis, and contacting outside service for major malfunctions.
- Embodies the Memorial Health System Performance Excellence Standards of Safety, Courtesy, Quality, and Efficiency that support our mission, vision, and values.
Requirements
- Associates degree preferred.
- Current ARRT registration and IEMA license for radiologic technologist required.
- Maintains state required CME.
- Maintain valid BLS CPR certification.
