Job Description: Patient Advocacy Manager

We are seeking an experienced Patient Advocacy Manager to join our team at St. Barnabas. As a key member of our Case Management department, you will be responsible for promoting patient-centered care and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

About the Role:
In this challenging and rewarding position, you will be responsible for making customer service a priority, treating customers (patients, visitors, and co-workers) in a professional manner exercising courtesy and tact. You will also effectively communicate with patients and others about SBH services in their area(s) of expertise or responsibility and ensures that concerns, questions or issues reach the right person(s) in SBH in a timely fashion.

Key Responsibilities:
* Makes customer service a priority
* Effectively communicates with patients and others about SBH services
* Ensures concerns, questions or issues reach the right person(s) in SBH in a timely fashion

Requirements:
* Graduate degree from a recognized Nursing School or College
* Current New York State RN License
* 3-5 years clinical nursing experience, preferably in an acute care hospital
* Minimum 2 years case management experience required
* PRI certification within one year of hire
* Managed Care experience is preferred

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year.
