• Operate x-ray rooms, portable units, and CT scanners safely and efficiently.
• Assist with patient transportation, manage scheduling inquiries, and address exam report questions.
• Possess a thorough understanding of x-ray technology, human anatomy, and proper positioning techniques to ensure high-quality imaging.
• Effectively manage multiple tasks while maintaining a supportive demeanor towards patients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
• Coordinate patient preparation and imaging processes to ensure a seamless workflow.
• Demonstrate proficiency in administering contrast media and recognizing potential reactions.

Essential Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program recognized by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA.
• ARRT registration or eligibility is required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
