Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and prepare detailed drawings.
  • Conduct site surveys to gather essential data.
  • Collaborate across various disciplines to ensure cohesive project execution.
  • Perform code reviews and investigations to maintain compliance.
  • Design equipment layouts and determine sizing requirements.
  • Create plans and coordinate efforts with other trades.
  • Assist in reviewing shop drawing submissions from contractors.
  • Support the inspection process and prepare site inspection reports.
  • Engage with building owners, property managers, architects, and design/construction teams.
  • Review codes to ensure designs adhere to all applicable regulations and safety standards.
  • Provide insights on construction cost estimates.
  • Participate in and support technical societies.
  • Manage and coordinate models using file and cloud-sharing platforms.
  • Establish project setups utilizing shared coordinate systems and linked models.
  • Develop Revit families, project templates, and title blocks.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Technical Degree in Building Systems Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related accredited program.
  • 2-4 years of experience in BIM modeling, facility design, or construction.
  • A proactive individual eager to embrace challenges and exceed expectations while continuously learning.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks.
  • Experience in model coordination.
  • Capability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Basic knowledge of construction detailing and techniques.
  • Willingness to receive guidance while effectively planning, prioritizing, and managing responsibilities across multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
