Work Schedule: Generally, shifts are 8 hours long, with hours ranging from 7 AM to 6 PM, across all days of the week.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Delivering outstanding service and care to guests.
  2. Maintaining a well-stocked and tidy service area.
  3. Ensuring products are fresh and readily available.
  4. Preparing menu items such as sandwiches and salads.
  5. Efficiently fulfilling beverage orders, including espresso and other drinks, adhering to company standards.
  6. Learning and utilizing the Micros system for order processing.
  7. Exhibiting strong cash handling abilities.
  8. Keeping the workspace clean and sanitized in accordance with health regulations.
  9. Being knowledgeable about all menu offerings.
  10. Cleaning coffee and espresso machines, and completing necessary side work and opening/closing tasks.
  11. Maintaining awareness of Village Hotel, Inn on Biltmore Estate, Antler Hill Village, and local events and attractions.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is highly preferred. Candidates should possess a cheerful and considerate demeanor, with a genuine desire to provide exceptional service. Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash and credit transactions are essential. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and adapt as necessary is crucial. A strong team player who is proactive and exercises good judgment is desired. Applicants must be at least 16 years old.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand or walk for extended periods. Candidates should be prepared to work in varying temperature conditions.
