Job Title: IT Systems Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure

ENGIE North America Inc. is seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Engineer to join our team in Houston, Texas. As a key member of our Global Business Support (GBS) team, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our organization through the complex landscape of cloud computing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily run support for the North America region within the ENGIE global division.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical insight and hands-on support related to cloud services.
  • Collaborate with the GBS IT Manager to ensure seamless operations and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows Server environment.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of general IT technologies, including SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online, OKTA, DevOps, Proofpoint, Zscaler, TCP/IP, SMTP, and Authentication concepts.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and optimize cloud infrastructure.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, Programming, Science, or related fields, with five years of experience in information systems.
  • Alternatively, seven years of experience in information systems, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and operations.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments in a data center or technology support (IT) environment.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows Server environment and ability to troubleshoot and optimize its performance.
  • Working knowledge of general IT technologies, including SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online, OKTA, DevOps, Proofpoint, Zscaler, TCP/IP, SMTP, and Authentication concepts.
