Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled High Voltage Electrician to join our team at the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our state-of-the-art electrical generating and distribution system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform installation, testing, repair, and maintenance of electrical machinery, devices, and associated equipment.
  • Work at heights in excess of 60 feet while standing on small platforms and in confined spaces, including manholes and vaults.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operation of the electrical system.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a High Voltage Electrician Training program or six years of journey-level electrical experience, including 18 months of experience in high voltage electrical work.
  • Possession of a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with computer-aided design (CAD) software and other technical tools.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
