Job Overview

Position: Quality Assurance Inspector - Night Shift

Training Schedule: 1st Shift (Monday to Friday)

Role Summary:

In collaboration with the Quality Manager, the primary focus of this role is to uphold the quality standards of components and products manufactured or utilized by Qualigence International. This is achieved through meticulous inspection and validation against established benchmarks.

  • Conduct thorough inspections and traverse workstations to verify the quality of components.
  • Document completed production items into the inventory system.
  • Support the Quality Manager with various projects.
  • Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure quality compliance.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies; experience in statistical process control is advantageous.
  • Proficient understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working independently with minimal oversight; strong verbal communication skills, detail-oriented, and observant.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and products.
  • Competence in utilizing measurement tools such as calipers, tape measures, micrometers, go/no-go gauges, and other precision instruments.
  • Capability to obtain certification for operating lift trucks.
  • Physical ability to remain mobile and active throughout an eight-hour shift, including significant walking.
