Job Summary

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a key member of our team, you will provide top-notch patient care, prioritize wellness, and contribute to a safe and quality environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process, prioritizing patient needs and safety.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Model proficiency through precepting new staff members and promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and innovations in emergency nursing.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited or state-approved Registered Nursing program.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Colorado.
  • 6 months of nursing experience, with a focus on emergency nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and any relevant life support certifications.
  • ACLS, ENPC, or PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
