Role Summary

As a Credit Trader on our discretionary macro portfolio management team, you will be responsible for executing trades in credit markets. This role requires strong relationships with liquidity providers, analysis of new issues, and maintenance of positions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Portfolio Manager to execute trades electronically and non-electronically.
  • Maintain relationships with a broad set of liquidity providers.
  • Analyze new issues in the credit market and maintain relationships with syndicate desks.
  • Be responsible for position maintenance, including CDS rolls, and serve as the point person for corporate actions.
  • Participate in research projects, including transaction cost analysis and broker/algorithm evaluation.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience as a credit trader in corporate bonds or CDS.
  • Experience with OMS/EMS platforms such as MarketAxess and TradeWeb.
  • Strong team player with a driven and collaborative mindset.
  • Understanding of the order lifecycle from order generation to booking and TCA.
  • Keen intuition for markets and a passion for studying them.
  • Intellectual curiosity with strong social skills.
  • Tenacious, detail-oriented, organized, and proactive about potential operational risks.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards.
