Public Health Coordinator Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Public Health Coordinator to join our team at the Houston Independent School District. As a key member of our health services department, you will be responsible for coordinating public health initiatives, providing health education, and delivering health services to students, parents, and staff.

About the Role: As a Public Health Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
  1. Coordinating public health initiatives, including immunization clinics and health fairs.
  2. Providing health education to students, parents, and staff on various health topics.
  3. Assessing the health needs of students and developing health care plans accordingly.
  4. Collaborating with school staff and community agencies to develop and implement health programs and services.

Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (R.N.) with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Currently licensed as a R.N. in the State of Texas
  • CPR/AED Certification
  • Minimum experience requirement - 12 months

Salary Range: $48,440 - $66,350 per year.
