Job Title: Surgical Technologist

Genie Healthcare is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in Lamar, Colorado.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Surgical Technologist to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment. As a Surgical Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient operating room environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, including equipment and supplies
  • Ensure proper sterilization and disinfection of equipment and surfaces
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical process
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
