At Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles Medical Center - KP, we are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse - Project Manager III to join our team in the Step Down Unit (SDU). As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced SDU setting.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse - Project Manager III to lead our team in the Step Down Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac rhythm recognition, medication administration, and patient care coordination. If you are a motivated and compassionate nurse with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Step Down Unit, including monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms, administering medications, and performing procedures as per unit protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care, including communicating effectively with patients, families, and medical team members.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all healthcare facility policies and procedures.
- Uphold the standards of practice for a registered nurse consistently and demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in stressful situations.
- 1-year recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years in a Step Down Unit setting.
- Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided).
- Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications.
