Key Responsibilities:- Triage and assess patients of all ages, prioritizing their needs and providing individualized care.
- Develop and implement plans of care, prescribing strategies and alternatives to achieve expected outcomes.
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously, providing general nursing care and prioritizing needs continually.
- Provide follow-up care instructions to patients and make necessary referrals.
- Coordinate functions with physicians and other departments, maintaining a patient-focused and safety-aware approach.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida, multistate, or able to obtain licensure prior to start.
- Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric within 90 days of employment start date.
- PALS obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
- One year experience in high acuity Emergency Department preferred.
