Job Opportunity: School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our school team at Soliant. This role involves providing occupational therapy services, conducting assessments, and developing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students. Experience in a school setting is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to identify students' functional and educational needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs in collaboration with teachers, parents, and school staff.
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to support students' functional and educational development.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided to ensure seamless communication with stakeholders.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to setting educational goals for students.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an OT.
  • Prior experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills to collaborate with school staff and stakeholders.
