Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist II to join our team at Novant Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including intraoperative and mobile procedures, as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
  • Assist a licensed practitioner in the performance of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including all intraoperative and mobile procedures.
  • Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, ensuring proper performance and maintenance.
  • Apply principles of ALARA to minimize radiation exposure to patients, self, and others.
  • Demonstrate current knowledge of federal and state radiation safety laws.
  • Properly utilize personnel monitoring devices.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program.
  • Certification required within 6 months of hire post-graduation from an accredited Radiology Program.
  • 2 Year Associate Degree, preferred.
  • Minimum of one year experience in diagnostic radiology, preferred.
  • ARRT certification in Radiography - RT(R), required.
  • Applicable state licensure as required, required.
