Job SummaryAs a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients, including diagnostic testing and quality control of respiratory equipment. You will work closely with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic tests of the cardio-pulmonary system
- Conduct quality control on respiratory care equipment, including I-STAT blood gas analyzers
- Provide respiratory care to patients, including oxygen therapy and ventilation
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree from an AMA-accredited respiratory care program
- Current RCP or equivalent state licensure
- CRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, STABLE, and NRPP certifications
- Preferred: RRT certification
