Position Overview:
This role is designed for a dedicated Pharmacy Care Specialist who will contribute to the exceptional healthcare services provided by Cleveland Clinic.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver distributive pharmacy services and assist pharmacists in an outpatient environment.
- Prepare and dispense prescription orders for patients.
- Manage inventory for the outpatient pharmacy effectively.
- Support the compounding of prescriptions and over-the-counter items.
- Operate the point-of-sale cash register system proficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock as necessary, and ensure the removal of expired products.
- Provide support across multiple pharmacy locations as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential verified through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
- Registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, Registered Pharmacy Technician, or Pharmacy Technician Trainee with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy, with the requirement to register as a Certified Pharmacy Technician within six months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of a formal pharmacy technician training program.
- Six months of experience in a hospital setting.
