About the Job

This role involves providing independent support to the bioanalytical laboratory, ensuring the successful conduct of studies.

The ideal candidate will possess good working knowledge of routine equipment use and maintenance in the area.

Responsibilities include:

  • ">
  • Evaluating and maintaining equipment, such as pipettes, balances, pH meters, and plate readers.
  • Preparing reagents, buffers, and study-related solutions as required.
  • General lab cleaning, expired reagent monitoring, and glassware washing.
  • Managing inventory, ordering, E-Workbook registration, storage, organization, and disposal of laboratory supplies, including critical reagents, chemicals, consumables, and matrix.
  • Weighing test articles or reference materials when necessary.
  • Maintaining freezers and refrigerators, overseeing their organization.
  • Caring for water systems, performing readings, or sending samples out for testing.
  • Participating in process improvement initiatives, sharing ideas and supporting team members.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe laboratory work environment, adhering to Health and Safety policies and training.
  • May assist in training or mentoring less experienced staff.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a laboratory setting is required, or an Associate Degree in a related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:"> High School diploma/educated to A-level equivalent plus 1-2 years of laboratory experience or Associate Degree in a related field.

Compensation and Benefits

">

The salary range for this position is $22.00 per hour.

Eligible employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are entitled to comprehensive benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Casual, PRN & Part-time employees working less than 20 hours are eligible for the 401(k) Plan only.
