Job Summary

Emanuel Medical Ctr campus is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients, utilizing your expertise in MRI technology to capture accurate and detailed images.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images, ensuring optimal patient positioning and comfort.
  • Develop and implement imaging protocols to ensure accurate and efficient image capture.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in MRI technology and imaging techniques.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a certified Radiologic Technology program or equivalent.
  • ARRT certification in Radiography or MRI required; ARMRIT certification in MRI preferred.
  • Current state license in Magnetic Resonance Imaging required for Oregon-based employees.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Working Conditions

This position requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting of patients and equipment. The MRI suite environment can be fast-paced and requires attention to detail and ability to work in a team setting.

Salary Range

$44.57 - $63.74 per hour.
