El Centro Family Health is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to providing quality healthcare to our community. We are seeking a highly skilled Credentialing Assistant I to join our team and contribute to our mission.

Job Description

The successful candidate will support the credentialing process for clinical practitioners, working closely with our Chief Operations Officer to ensure compliance with ECFH policy and procedure.

Responsibilities
  • Support the credentialing process for clinical practitioners, including primary source verification and monitoring of practitioner data.
  • Communicate effectively with insurance affiliates and external entities to verify effective dates for practitioners.
  • Maintain accurate records of practitioner credentialing and tracking.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least six months of experience in customer service or office administration.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred qualifications include an Associate degree and two years' experience in customer service, office management, or administrative support in a credentialing or healthcare setting.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000-$55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
