Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Automation Systems Engineer to join our facilities team at Promega. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing engineering support to facilities maintenance staff with building system operations. This includes troubleshooting and analysis of system deficiencies, engaging equipment vendors, and sharing knowledge and perspectives on building system operations with maintenance staff.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide engineering support to facilities maintenance staff with building system operations.
2. Assist with troubleshooting and analysis of system deficiencies.
3. Engage equipment vendors, engineering consultants, and contractors to provide operational improvements or solutions for building system operational deficiencies.
4. Share knowledge and perspectives on building system operations with maintenance staff to help develop and expand expertise and understanding of systems.
5. Work with customers and stakeholders to help define needs and solutions.
6. Assess change control impact on qualified systems and work with customers, stakeholders, and quality assurance team.
7. Work with management to develop cost estimates and schedules with customers, stakeholders, and facilities resources to deliver projects in a timely and cost-effective manner.
8. Coordinate resources with facility maintenance supervisor and/or outside contractors for project implementation.
9. Provide project management direction and assist in decision making to ensure successful project implementation.
10. Collaborate with vendors, engineering consultants, or Promega facilities to develop design BAS drawings.
11. Lead small to medium size capital projects as required by management team decisions.
12. Develop and implement control sequences of operation and programming.
13. Assist in selection of components for project designs.
14. Update project drawings with as-built system conditions.
15. Assist project engineer manager and facility maintenance staff with the management of campus building systems.
16. Assist in commissioning or recommissioning of new and existing systems to verify and document functional performance.
17. Train and develop skills in the use of the building automation system to provide operational support for maintenance staff.
