Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Heartspring. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in our residential and day-only student population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify communication needs and develop individualized plans to address them.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure consistent and effective communication strategies.
  • Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and other professionals to enhance their understanding of communication disorders and strategies for supporting students.
  • Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants and provide guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality services.
  • Participate in student team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology to ensure the highest level of care for our students.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with students with communication disorders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
