Job Summary

Under the direction of the Department Leadership, the Lymphedema Therapist evaluates patients, establishes treatment goals, and performs lymphedema management treatment. The therapist assesses treatment effectiveness and makes discharge recommendations. Additionally, the lymphedema therapist collaborates with DME providers to obtain necessary supplies for patients.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an educational program for occupational or physical therapists.
  • Extensive training in Lymphedema Management.
  • 3 years of professional experience.
  • State licensure (or eligible) as an Occupational or Physical Therapist.
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
  • Certified Lymphedema Therapist.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong Microsoft Windows desktop application and navigation skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and relate information to individuals of varying ages from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
