Job Title: Floating Teacher/Utility Educator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable educator to join our team as a Floating Teacher/Utility Educator. This role requires a positive attitude, creativity, and the ability to work in any of our classrooms with children ranging from 6-weeks through school age.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement proprietary curriculum, and complete assessments and reports for the children
  • Help and supervise children during all activities
  • Counsel children when social, academic, or adjustment problems arise
  • Ensure the appearance, cleanliness, and safe environment of the classroom are maintained
  • Assist with meal times and clean-up
  • Complete all academy and classroom paperwork, such as daily notes, student accident reports, and attendance reports
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetings as requested

Qualifications:

  • Meet all state requirements for this position
  • Be able to adapt to teaching in any of the Academy classrooms
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old
  • Possess a pleasant and friendly demeanor, and an outgoing personality
  • Be highly professional and dependable
  • Be able to interact appropriately with students of all ages and skill levels, as well as with parents, coworkers, and management
  • Be able to lift no less than 40 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the workday
