Job Title: Crew Chief

At StandardAero, we're committed to excellence in aviation maintenance. As a Crew Chief, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign and supervise Quality Inspectors/Technicians to perform tasks within the work scope.
  • Monitor performance to plan and take necessary action to ensure timely completion and estimated costs.
  • Direct the team for maximum efficiency and effective use of resources, including overtime assignments and accurate labor hour charging.
  • Ensure the use of applicable technical data, including manufacturers' maintenance manuals.
  • Verify inspection personnel are qualified to perform tasks and identify training requirements.
  • Monitor work performed by the crew to ensure quality standards and airworthiness.
  • Ensure required aircraft maintenance documents and forms are complete and accurate.
  • Collaborate with maintenance managers and crew chiefs to achieve on-time delivery and budget objectives.
  • Support a clean and safe environment, adhering to company safety and OSHA standards.
Requirements:
  • Authorized to work in the US.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of Corporate-related aircraft Initial Maintenance School or verifiable experience.
  • FAA Mechanic Airframe & Powerplant Certificate and meet FAR part 65 subpart D requirements.
  • Three plus years of leadership experience in an aviation maintenance environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Inspection Authorization (IA).
  • Associates Degree in an aviation field or aircraft maintenance related experience equivalency.
