Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Manager. The individual in this role will oversee the financial, billing, and payroll operations of the organization. Responsibilities include managing general accounting, budgeting, and billing processes, coordinating audits, and ensuring adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This position is also responsible for monitoring and reporting financial outcomes to maintain the organization's fiscal health.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute accounting and financial reporting procedures, managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, medical billing, and payroll to ensure precise financial documentation and reporting.
2. Safeguard financial assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing accounting policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.
3. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; monitor relevant legislation and advise senior management on necessary adjustments.
4. Conduct regulatory reporting, including tax planning and compliance.
5. Maintain company ledgers, prepare journal entries, perform account analysis and reconciliation, and ensure timely monthly and annual closing of financial records.
6. Manage cash flow effectively.
7. Prepare the annual budget utilizing schedules and financial data; adhere to budgetary goals.
8. Develop and track performance metrics.
9. Undertake special projects as directed by senior management, providing critical information for decision-making.
10. Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise accounting personnel to enhance performance and professional development while ensuring compliance with company policies.
11. Maintain confidentiality of all financial information.
12. Stay updated with current trends and practices in accounting and finance.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
- CPA accreditation is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting and financial experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Experience in public accounting and the healthcare sector is preferred; multi-state experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with medical billing is advantageous.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, with advanced expertise in MS Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
