We are seeking a skilled and experienced Travel Radiology Technologist to join our team at Tact Staff. As a Travel Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating radiology/fluoroscopic equipment to produce images/radiographs (x-rays) of the body for diagnostic purposes.

Job Summary:

The Travel Radiology Technologist will work in a fast-paced environment, operating radiology/fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate radiology/fluoroscopic equipment to produce images/radiographs (x-rays) of the body for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients on examining tables and adjust immobilization devices as needed to obtain optimum views of specified areas of the body.
  • Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
  • Adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance.
  • Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staff.
  • Operate mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in operating rooms, emergency rooms, or at patients' bedsides.
  • Operate film processing equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of current X-Ray experience.
  • ARRT (R) certificate.
  • Fluoro experience is absolutely required - daily procedures.
  • Experience with ER, OR, Bedside imaging - please note on profile.
  • Experience with Adolescent-Geriatric NH MIRT temp license in effect - out of state Radiology license needed for TEMP -- please submit temp application to NH OPLC asap if interested in opportunity.
  • Submitting requirements: Work History going back at least 7 years --- (will be required for Compliance verification purposes).
  • Skills Checklist: At least '2' supervisor reference included - MUST be from within previous two years of employment/contract.
  • Licenses & Certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA), NH License of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
  • Covid Vaccination card w/ booster.
