Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on industry standards and the location of our facilities.

Job Summary

We are seeking an MRI Imaging Specialist to join our team of skilled professionals. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images used by physicians in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operate MRI Equipment: You will be responsible for operating the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment at SimonMed Imaging centers, ensuring that all procedures are performed safely and efficiently.
2. Knowledge of MRI Procedures: You should have a thorough understanding of magnetic resonance imaging procedures and technology, as well as knowledge of how to select the appropriate imaging techniques to produce high-quality images.
3. Obtain and Analyze Images: You will operate the MRI scanner to obtain images used by physicians in diagnosing and treating pathologies, selecting appropriate imaging techniques and entering and monitoring patient data.
4. Maintain Accurate Documentation: You will be responsible for maintaining accurate study documentation, including patient records and image transfer protocols.
5. Perform Administrative Tasks: In addition to technical responsibilities, you may be required to perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and handling patient communication.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Certification: Registration as a MR Technologist by the A.R.R.T. or ARMRIT certification is required.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a fast-paced MRI environment is preferred.
• Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, sit for prolonged periods, and stand/walk frequently.
