PrimeSource is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting inspections of incoming parts and supplies, as well as setting up and testing products and components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect products using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and pin gauges.
  • Generate spreadsheets for data collection and reconciliation.
  • Conduct final inspection documentation for shipments and ensure accuracy.
  • Test incoming materials and perform inline product inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.
  • Control and manage nonconforming product, including communication with stakeholders.
  • Maintain documentation of all product inspections, including material certifications.
  • Perform and document in-house product tests at the direction of the Quality Manager.
  • Ensure security and control of QC gage, test, and measuring equipment.
  • Identify, evaluate, and assist in implementing corrective actions related to product quality concerns.
  • Assist with First Article Inspections (FAIs) and production sample inspections.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Background in Quality measurement, familiarity with measurement tools, and NDE (nondestructive examination) experience preferred.
  • Experience with reading and evaluating Engineering drawings preferred.
  • General computer skills and ability to maneuver within ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to utilize various QC inspection devices and measurement tools.
  • Ability to operate a forklift; or willingness to learn.

Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office environment, with a focus on quality control and assurance. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
