Medical Specialist Opportunity at Proesis Bio

We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Medical Specialist to join our team at Proesis Bio in Dallas. As a Medical Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine donor suitability and perform physical examinations to confirm established donor suitability.
  • Lead, document, and follow-up on Donor Adverse Events (DAEs) and provide appropriate counseling as necessary.
  • Consult with the Center Medical Director on all abnormal test results and medical events.
  • Monitor donors for adverse donation reactions and determine the need for emergency medical assistance when necessary.
  • Maintain exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for our donors.
Requirements:
  • Possess a current and valid LPN or LVN licensure necessary for working in the state of Texas.
  • Hold an active CPR certification.
  • One or more years of experience in a medical setting is desired, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent donor interfacing skills and ability to manage emergency situations in accordance with standard medical care practices.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to operate computer software and Microsoft Office.
