Biology Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified Biology Instructor to join our team at the State of South Carolina. As a Biology Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching on-campus and online courses, supervising and evaluating students, and assisting with academic advising.

• Provide high-quality instruction and teach courses as assigned.
• Develop and implement successful retention activities and assist in graduate placement.
• Manage classroom/lab activities in an orderly manner and hold regular office hours.
• Design new programs, revise curricula, and develop new courses.
• Participate in college committees and perform public service for the college.

• Doctorate or master's degree in the teaching discipline or a master's degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
• Background in Anatomy and Physiology and Microbiology.
• At least 2 years' teaching experience.
