Junior Test Engineer

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking a Junior Test Engineer to support our client in the testing and evaluation of production and research hardware.
Shift Details:
2nd Shift - Initial training will occur on the 1st shift.
Role Responsibilities:
- Hold an associate degree in a technical field.
- Employ established testing protocols to assemble and construct products effectively.
- Revise and enhance existing Test Standard Procedures and Forms pertaining to testing methodologies.
- Conduct tests utilizing a range of testing instruments, including Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Frequency Counters, Phase Noise Analyzers, TVAC Chambers, and Power Meters.
- Collaborate with the shop coordinator to ensure accurate tracking of orders on the production floor.
- Utilize test fixtures and RF hardware, including SMA connectors, O-scope probes, and adapters.
- Engage closely with production personnel, including Engineers, Assemblers, and Quality Inspectors, to address daily operational and scheduling requirements.
- Work in partnership with Quality Assurance associates to conduct root cause analysis of test failures and implement necessary corrective measures.
- Adhere to all Electro-static Sensitive Device (ESD) safety protocols and processes, ensuring compliance across various teams.
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrate strong electrical evaluation and troubleshooting capabilities, particularly in RF troubleshooting.
- Exhibit proficiency in the use of measurement tools, including but not limited to DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, and Spectrum Analyzers.
- Maintain effective communication skills when interacting with customers and team members.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Compensation: Pay rate ranges from $22 to $25+ based on experience.
