Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Clinical Lead on our Stepdown Unit at Carondelet St. Marys Hospital. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for assisting the Nurse Manager in coordinating patient care, unit activities, and staff performance on an assigned shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supports and evaluates patient care and unit needs during assigned shifts
  • Makes assignments for staff to meet patient care needs and for incoming patients
  • Monitors effectiveness and completion of unit assignments
  • Evaluates staffing and makes adjustments as needed
  • Provides exceptional customer service and facilitates service recovery efforts
  • Participates in quality improvement initiatives and serves as a unit champion for quality and patient safety
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Valid current Arizona Nursing License
  • Required certifications in area of clinical specialty within 3 years from ANCC or other approved credentialing entity
  • Minimum 1 year of ICU experience, with preference for Neuro ICU experience
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
