Diagnostic CT Technologist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Salem Hospital, Inc. in Salem, MA.

Job Summary:

The CT Technologist will perform diagnostic CT procedures with a high level of competence, working independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and the capacity to function effectively in emergency situations.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic CT procedures with precision and accuracy
  • Assume responsibility for designated areas, procedures, and students as assigned
  • Work variable nights and some weekends

Requirements:

  • Effective communication skills and ability to build rapport with others
  • Organizational skills to work in an efficient, orderly fashion
  • Ability to function effectively in an emergency situation
  • Normal or corrected vision for visual safety checks
  • Normal or corrected hearing for safe interaction with patients and medical staff

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous CT experience preferred but not required
  • Graduates of a formal Radiologic Technology Training program with required license and registration

Required Licenses and Certifications:

  • Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiologic Technology Training program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRC/ERT)
  • Licensure with the MA Department of Public Health to practice Radiology in the state of Massachusetts
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R)
