Job Summary

As a Surgical Technologist at EvergreenHealth, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care during surgical procedures. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals who share a passion for providing high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare operating rooms with the necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment for each surgical procedure.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to aseptic technique and maintain a sterile environment throughout the procedure.
  • Perform accurate counts and maintain accurate records of surgical procedures.
  • Anticipate the surgical routine and respond proactively to the surgeon's instructions.
  • Remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and handle unexpected events with efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Participate in patient safety activities, including pre-surgical pause.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Registered as a Surgical Technologist within the State of Washington.
  • NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) Certification.
  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
Desired Qualifications
  • 2 years of Surgical Tech experience.
