Electrical Engineering Internship Opportunity

Job Summary:

HGA is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team for the summer of 2025. As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of engineering experiences and tasks, including supporting aesthetically pleasing lighting designs, designing power distribution and lighting systems for commercial and institutional facilities, and performing electrical engineering design calculations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support electrical engineering design calculations and analysis
  • Design power distribution and lighting systems for commercial and institutional facilities
  • Research code issues and work with regulatory officials
  • Analyze reports, drawings, tests, and other data to plan and design work
  • Use engineering and design software to complete tasks

Requirements:

  • Pursuing an engineering degree in Architectural Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • Entering junior year or higher of undergraduate degree or currently enrolled in grad school
  • Knowledge of electrical analysis software (ETAP, Easy Power, Dapper / Captor) and AGI and/or Visual Pro
  • Knowledge of Revit is preferred
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
