Geotechnical Engineer Opportunity

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Chesapeake, VA. This is a full-time permanent opportunity that offers a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $85,000.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide geotechnical engineering services on various public and private sector projects, including buildings, bridges, roadways, and retaining structures.
  • Plan and coordinate field exploration programs, including site reconnaissance and soil classification.
  • Perform geotechnical engineering analysis, calculations, and computer modeling.
  • Develop geotechnical engineering design parameters and recommendations.
  • Prepare geotechnical engineering reports and deliverables.
  • Manage geotechnical engineering projects, including project schedules, budgets, and invoicing.
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of geotechnical work experience.
  • Proficient in engineering software such as gINT.
