Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia to patients undergoing routine GI procedures.

Responsibilities

* Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing routine GI procedures
* Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed
* Collaborate with gastroenterologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement anesthesia plans
* Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients
* Educate patients and their families about anesthesia procedures and potential risks

Qualifications

* Must be a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
* Valid nursing license in the State of Alabama
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital, ASC or critical care setting
* In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology
* Proficient in aseptic technique and infection control standards
* Strong patient assessment skills
* Ability to insert and manage intravenous (IV) lines
* Familiarity with medical coding for accurate documentation and billing purposes
* Competent in medication administration and monitoring patient responses
