About the Role:This Senior Actuarial Associate position is responsible for developing premiums and benefits for new and enhanced insurance and annuity products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design new products and features, project profitability, and analyze financial experience.
- Develop and maintain actuarial models and data analytics to support business decisions
- Design and implement new product features to enhance customer experience and drive business growth
- Collaborate with actuarial and non-actuarial teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Sciences, Economics, or Finance
- ASA working toward FSA designation in the Society of Actuaries or recent FSA
- Full-time actuarial or analytical experience, preferably with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
New York Life offers a competitive salary range of $105,000-$160,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
