Core Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable Management:

  • Process vendor invoices, ensuring accurate allocation to the correct accounts and cost centers.
  • Validate invoice correctness by matching with purchase orders and receiving documentation.
  • Organize and execute payments, ensuring timely and precise disbursements to suppliers.
  • Reconcile accounts payable ledgers and resolve any discrepancies with vendors.
  • Foster and maintain supplier relationships, addressing inquiries and resolving payment issues.
  • Prepare and submit necessary documentation for audits and compliance purposes.

Accounts Receivable Management:

  • Create customer invoices based on sales orders and delivery documentation.
  • Track and monitor receivables, ensuring prompt collection of outstanding payments.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers, accurately applying payments to customer accounts.
  • Engage with customers to resolve payment inquiries and disputes.
  • Prepare aging reports and provide regular updates to management regarding collection status.
  • Assist in establishing new customer accounts and conducting credit assessments.

General Accounting Assistance:

  • Support month-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Provide assistance during internal and external audits as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Experience in the agricultural sector.
  • Proficient in Excel.
