We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Doosan Bobcat NA US. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our mechanical equipment throughout the plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with operators and supervisors to identify and resolve equipment issues, and provide training and guidance as needed.
- Perform welding, fabrication, and machining tasks to repair or replace equipment components.
- Operate heavy equipment, such as hoists, lift trucks, and cranes, to move and position equipment for maintenance and repair.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize equipment failures and reduce maintenance costs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest safety procedures and regulations, and ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or technical certification preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
