Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with operators and supervisors to identify and resolve equipment issues, and provide training and guidance as needed.
  • Perform welding, fabrication, and machining tasks to repair or replace equipment components.
  • Operate heavy equipment, such as hoists, lift trucks, and cranes, to move and position equipment for maintenance and repair.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize equipment failures and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest safety procedures and regulations, and ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or technical certification preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
