Job Title: IT-Technical Support Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT-Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Raymond School District School Administrative Unit #33. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance to our computer systems, hardware, and software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common client issues.
  • Install, upgrade, and configure client computers hardware and software.
  • Have knowledge in Google Apps for Education, Microsoft Suite of Products, and advanced WAN/LAN knowledge.
  • Have the ability to work with and help train users.
  • Must work independently and follow documentation processes.
  • Dependable, quick learner, adaptable.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of the following software: PowerSchool, SNAP, NutriKids, Munis, Google Products, educational and assessment software, assistive educational technology.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in computer science or technical related field.
  • Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with network administration.
  • Experience with instructional technology in an educational environment preferred.
  • Router and firewall experience.

Physical Demands:

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
