Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Alto Health Care Staffing. As an IR Tech, you will be responsible for providing high-quality images and performing specialized procedures to support physician diagnosis and patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate specialized equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Perform a range of interventional procedures, including vascular angiograms, biopsies, and drainages
  • Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of interventional equipment, supplies, and diagnostic radiographic principles
  • Minimize patient risk and recovery time by adhering to safety and infection control policies
  • Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a patient-centered approach
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Participate in educational programs and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience as an IR Tech in an Interventional Radiology setting
  • ARRT certification and BLS certification
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including call shifts and weekends
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
