Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in a psychiatric setting, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs and goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify potential risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient progress, including medical history, treatment plans, and outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures.
- Current RN license in Massachusetts
- BLS certification
- Experience in psychiatric nursing, with a strong understanding of mental health principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
