Responsibilities:

  • Scrape and pre-rinse food from dirty dishes and place them in the dishwashing machine.
  • Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand and/or machine.
  • Complete all assigned prep work, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
  • Remove trash and garbage to the designated dumpster area.
  • Wash work area tables, walls, refrigerator equipment, cooking equipment, and floors.
  • Clean garbage cans and trash receptacles.
  • Assemble, maintain, and break down the dish machine.

Requirements:

  • A positive attitude and a desire to care for others.
  • Ability to transport cases up to 50 pounds up to 20 times per day.
  • Ability to place plates, utensils, pans, and cases on both high and low shelves.
  • Ability to work indoors (90%) and outdoors (10%).
  • Ability to work frequently in a hot and damp environment.
  • Able to respond in emergency situations to avoid imminent danger to self and others.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires regular navigation throughout the restaurant, communication with guests, and movement of items up to five pounds. You must also be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, bend, and stoop. Reasonable accommodations may be made if you have disabilities.
