Job Title: Product and Building Certification Manager

Eastern Research Group (ERG) is a research and consulting firm that provides a wide range of support to federal, state, and commercial clients. Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional with experience developing and implementing conformity assessment requirements for product and building certification programs. The successful candidate will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of these programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement program requirements and procedures
  • Establish roles and responsibilities for program participants
  • Develop and review applications and agreements for program participation
  • Oversee continuous compliance requirements and conduct periodic audits of certification program participants
  • Engage with clients and program stakeholders to evaluate certification program success and opportunities for improvement
  • Support the development of resources and training to assist interested applicants and program participants
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental or climate science, engineering, public policy, business administration, or a related field
  • Five years of relevant experience supporting building and/or product certification programs
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Experience developing and/or implementing certification or verification program requirements
  • Familiarity with International Organization of Standardization (ISO) standards related to conformity assessment
  • Familiarity with ISO standards related to product labeling
  • Experience with developing and/or implementing products or green building certification programs
  • Experience managing projects and small teams
  • Strong technical capabilities and written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize concurrent projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent critical thinking and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
